The North West LHIN Board hosts Governance-to-Governance meetings two times annually to engage with boards and leadership teams from LHIN-funded health service providers across Northwestern Ontario.
On May 28, 2018, the North West LHIN hosted a Governance-to-Governance session in Fort Frances to provide an update on provincial and local priorities, including the 2018-2019 Minister’s Mandate Letter, to share an update on the North West LHIN Integrated Health Services Blueprint implementation plan, as well as to provide an update on the development of the Integrated Health Service Plan 2019-2022 and sub-region planning. The session concluded with an opportunity for tables to interact and explore areas of strength and improvement in the District of Rainy River through generative discussion questions.
Led by North West LHIN Board Chair Mr. Gil Labine and new CEO Dr. Rhonda Crocker Ellacott, the session brought together 44 representatives from across the District of Rainy River Sub-region and providers across the region serving the district.
